The Vierdaagsecamping since 1977

Established in 1977, originally located in Lent, and named Vierdaagsecamping Lent, the camping site underwent a relocation in 2018 and is now known as The Vierdaagsecamping. Founded by Willem and Gemma Kuipers, the camping site was later taken over by Jeroen Toonen in 2014. Under his management, the unique atmosphere and familial character have been preserved. The Four Days Camping has been synonymous with conviviality, hospitality, and quality for four decades.

A Pop-up Camping, exclusively during the Four Days Marches of Nijmegen

The Vierdaagsecamping is a temporary campsite that opens each year exclusively for the Nijmegen Four Days Marches. We organize the camping especially for walkers, their caretakers, and supporters. Despite its temporary nature, the campsite offers the same amenities as a permanent camping site, including clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, reception, security, and restaurant.

Ideal Location for walkers and their Supporters

Situated close to the starting and finish of the Four Days Marches, just a 20-minute bike ride from the city center of Nijmegen, the campsite serves as the perfect base for both walkers and spectators. The location of The Vierdaagsecamping shifted from Oosterhoutsedijk to Stationsstraat in 2018, and since 2022, the camping site is situated at the Griftdijk.
